Leaving On A Jet Plane

Leaving on A Jet Plane
Chantal Kreviazuk

I... I...

All my bags are packed
I'm ready to go
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin'
This early mornin'
The taxi's waitin'
He's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could cry

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go

Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go

I...
There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you now
They don't mean a thing

Every place I go, I think of you
Every song I sing, I sing for you
When I come back
I'll wear your wedding ring

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go

Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go

Now the time has come to leave you
One more time
Let me kiss you
Close your eyes
I'll be on my way

Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the time when I don't have to say...

Oh, kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go

Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go

I'm leaving on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go

I'm leaving on a jet plane
leaving on a jet plane
leaving on a jet plane
leaving on a jet plane
I... leaving on a jet plane
I... leaving on a jet plane
I... leaving on a jet plane
I... leaving on a jet plane

One more day...

laptops et al (part trois)

i'm really getting tired of this... went back to the pc shop today, only to be stumped by one more option, which i inadvertently chose. peej knows all the nasty details of my 5th (yeah... i'm a masochist) visit to gilmore... thanks for accompanying me anyway, dude.

sorry kai, it wasn't a toshiba, but i did get a 21-day trial offer on this one. if i'm not satisfied with this laptop, i'm free to trade this in for the toshiba.

what's the word on hp compaqs? is it better (read: more reliable or more durable) than compaqs?

LSS

a truly beautiful song... nice knows how much this song means to me...

everything
lifehouse

find me here, speak to me
i want to feel you, i need to hear you
you are the light that’s leading me
to the place where i find peace, again

you are the strength that keeps me walking
you are the hope that keeps me trusting
you are the life to my soul
you are my purpose, you are everything

and how can i stand here with you
and not be moved by you
would you tell me how can it be
any better than this
yeah

you calm the storms and you give me rest
you hold me in your hands, you won’t let me fall
you still my heart and you take my breath away
would you take me in, would you take me deeper now

and how can i stand here with you
and not be moved by you
would you tell me how could it be
any better than this
(repeat)

‘cause you’re all i want
you’re all i need
you’re everything, everything (4x)

and how can i stand here with you
and not be moved by you
would you tell me how could it be
any better than this (3x)

would you tell me how could it be
any better than this…
